This was a highly detailed kitchen design in a 1930's house in the historic district of Upper Arlington, Ohio. Sara and Dr. Rau did not want to change the footprint of this small kitchen, so we used every square inch of space to the maximum. Custom inset flat panel cabinets with leaded glass uppers go well with Sara's desire to keep the existing stainless steel countertop at the sink. New countertops were also stainless. Toe kick drawers add storage below the base cabinets. This project won a regional COTY (contractor of the year) award for kitchen designs under $60,000.00.
