Had a swell summer with the kids, but my best friend of 15 years died last week. Vincent was truly a great dog and he will be missed, but he is in a much better place. I did this pastel painting of him looking at me ready to run upstairs at a moment's notice from my basement office back in Columbus in 1997. He really was a cool dog.
